Limited Run Games, Nightdive Studios and Universal Products & Experiences will release a physical version of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Fans can pre-order the game on limitedrungames.com starting June 7, 2024.
Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is a faithful remaster of the classic first-person shooter originally released for Nintendo 64 in 2000, upgraded with Nightdive Studios’ proprietary KEX Engine to play at up to 4K resolution and 120FPS on the latest gaming devices. The title features upgraded gameplay, higher-resolution textures, enhanced lighting and rendering, and gamepad support.
In addition to the standalone release, Limited Run will be releasing a Classic Edition of Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion to coincide with the previous Turok remaster release, which will include a metal replica retro cartridge, the official game soundtrack on CD, and a reversible poster, all housed in a nostalgic box with foil embossing.
The Limited Run also offers Xbox players the opportunity to own the entire remastered trilogy with new Xbox One physical editions of Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, which will be available to pre-order alongside Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion throughout the sale period. Fans looking to upgrade their collection, regardless of platform, will also be able to get a slipcase that houses all three titles.
