The legal battle between Jeezy and Jeannie Mai appears to be getting more intense, with the 46-year-old father recently petitioning a judge to order a “parental eligibility test” for both himself and his estranged wife, Jeannie Mai.
According to new court documents, blast, The rapper is seeking joint custody of their two-year-old daughter Monaco and a “parental fitness evaluation” for the pair, as well as asking the judge to issue a “temporary parenting plan order.”
Jeezy also asked the judge to enter an order for a “final hearing” of the divorce at the “next scheduled court date.”
Recently, Mai accused the “Soul Survivor” rapper of domestic violence, a claim that has been denied by several women close to Jezzy, including Mahi, who shares a 10-year-old daughter, Amla, with Jezzy.
Mai submitted an affidavit attesting to the fact that Jeezy is a “peaceful” person. In court documents, Mai described her ex-partner as a “devoted and caring father to his daughter and eldest son.” [Jadarius Jenkins, 28]”Jay’s eldest son lived with us for nearly four years and I was able to watch their relationship grow every day. Jay was never physically, mentally or emotionally abusive towards his children or me,” she added.
In a separate affidavit, nanny Minhee Hofler also voiced her support for the rapper, declaring him a “loving” father to his two daughters, Amra and Monaco. Hofler added, “As their caretaker, I believe that Ms. Jenkins is providing the daughters with the support they need to grow into the young women they will become.”
“Mr Jenkins is a hard-working person, but even more so, he is a hard-working father,” she concluded in legal documents.
Mai’s legal team responded by calling the statements of support “false allegations”.
Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins, and Mai married in a small ceremony at their Atlanta home in March 2021. The couple has one child together. In addition to Monaco and Amra, Jeezy is also father to two sons, Ja’Darius Jenkins and Shyheim Jenkins, from a previous relationship.
