Publisher NIS America has announced that pre-orders are now open for the Deluxe Edition of the Nippon Falcom action JRPG. Ys x Nordix. Fans can currently purchase this version of the title for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, or Nintendo Switch from Amazon for $59.99. This includes the base game along with a digital mini soundtrack and a physical mini art book.
Although not yet announced, a limited edition will be available from the NIS America store.
Ys x Nordix occur after the event of Ys II But before the event Ys Celceta’s Memories, will be the new third regular adventure of the main character Adol Christine. After Adol’s heroic debut on Esteria and Ys, on his way to Obelia Bay with Dogi and Dr. Flare, they encounter two factions: the Normans and Griegr. The former is a warrior wandering the seas, the latter a seemingly immortal threat. The Normans Adol and Karja Barta end up working together to uncover the history of Obelia Bay and the conflicts forming within it.
Ys x Nordix Boasting new combat features and finally moving beyond the party system seen throughout Ys Seven, Ys Celceta’s Memories, Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Darnaand Ys IX Monstrum Nox. One of his new mechanics is the cross-action system, which allows players to instantly switch control of Adol and Karja. Additionally, their combat efforts can be combined, as they accumulate a revenge gauge to unleash powerful attacks at the expense of slower movement speed.
Another new feature is mana, which allows for a variety of ways to move around the world, including grappling, sliding, creating new platforms, and discovering hidden treasure. Additionally, players can look forward to sailing with Sandra and her friends, encouraging them to explore unknown islands, and participating in naval battles, all of which will be new to Sandra. Ys series.
Ys x Nordix In Europe and the United States, it is scheduled to be distributed in fall 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store.
