The University of Wisconsin football staff recently welcomed their tight end target to campus for an official visit and he made a strong impression.
Brodie Lennon, a three-star tight end in the 2025 recruiting class, was on campus this past weekend for his official visit with the Badgers staff. Lennon had never visited campus before and had never met the entire staff until his recent official visit. After his visit, Lennon was very impressed with the campus and staff, which could be the catalyst for Wisconsin earning him a new contract.
University of Wisconsin football staff impressed with tight end Brodie Lennon during a recent official visit.
During his official visit to Madison earlier this month, 2025 tight end Brodie Lennon admitted he was shocked by the warmth he received from the staff. Lennon, like many freshmen, didn’t understand the importance and history of Madison until he stepped on campus. Lennon is one of the newest 2025 recruits on the Badgers staff and has been on the staff’s radar since accepting his scholarship in April of this year.
Lennon is a recruit from Ohio who has been on the road and has visited all over the country. Lennon has been particularly interested in the South, visiting West Virginia and taking official visits to Kentucky and Missouri. The tight end has to visit both the Wildcats and Tigers before completing all of his official visits, but Wisconsin appears to be influencing his decision so far.
The visit was a success, and the Wisconsin Badgers football staff took some big steps forward.
Following his official visit, the Wisconsin football staff was actively involved in talks to land Lennon a contract. But despite the significant progress, it may be too late for the Badgers as Lennon intends to follow through on his official visit. The tight end will have to visit Penn State and Kentucky before making a contract decision.
Wisconsin may not be leading the pack right now, but it certainly has inspired Lennon to consider attending school in Madison.
Would Wisconsin’s football staff be able to acquire Lennon over Penn State or Missouri State?
As of now, the two schools with the most potential to sign Lennon are Penn State and the University of Missouri. Lennon took an unofficial visit to Missouri early last month and booked his official visit with the Tigers less than two weeks later. The tight end currently appears ready to commit to the Tigers, but that could change as he continues to weigh his decision.
Lennon is a long shot for the Wisconsin football staff to land, but not too long considering his ties to Missouri.
