TikTok users have shared some hacks to prevent nausea. However, since this is a public platform, people are free to question whether it is legal or not.
However, NHS doctor Dr Karan Raj endorsed the tips shared by @onlyjayus. However, he has a few caveats for anyone trying out the suggestions.

A UK-based expert has given TikTok users a “thumbs up” for three tips for when people feel nauseous, the Daily Mail reports.
In the first hack, the woman sniffed rubbing alcohol placed on a small piece of kitchen paper. She said the smell was unpleasant, but she said it was effective in preventing nausea.
Soon after, Dr. Raj confirmed the first hack, stating that the alcohol contained isopropyl ethanol, which alleviated nausea. However, users were cautioned that they should only inhale it, not ingest it.

The NHS doctor continued that the reasons behind alcohol’s effect on nausea are still unknown at this time. He went on to say that this could be related to breathing as opposed to a pharmacological effect, before going on to say that this could fall under a placebo effect.
Additionally, users also exhibited nausea and vomiting, but the nausea symptoms quickly disappeared once they started humming.
For the second hack, the doctor again approved humming, which is thought to reduce the gag reflex.
The doctor also gave a thumbs up and explained that humming suppresses the gag reflex. Experts also said there are also solutions, such as brushing your tongue with a toothbrush, that can relieve nausea.
He also suggested that you could listen to music or meditate while placing a pinch of salt on your tongue. This also suppresses the gag reflex. However, it warned users that the technology may not work for everyone.
The last hack a user shared was how to clear their sinuses. She explained that people can place her tongue on the roof of their mouth and then press their thumb on their forehead for 20 seconds, the Mirror reported.
As a final act, Dr. Raj confirmed that hacking is effective because it allows you to move the vomer bone, which is important when you want to clear your sinuses.
Again, experts advised that this will not work for everyone. He added that you can try tilting his head back and then squeezing his nose while holding his breath.
Dr. Raj concluded by saying that if symptoms persist, it is better to consult a doctor.
