My friend and I spent the day at the O2 Arena in North Greenwich, shopping, eating, and climbing to the world-famous rooftop.
From world-class entertainment events to diverse dining options, O2 has something for everyone and is the go-to destination for those looking to combine fun and memories with fitness activities.
As a fitness enthusiast, I’m always on the lookout for quality training gear that not only improves my performance, but also adds style to my gym wardrobe.
Personally, February is a great month to start working on your fitness, as the Christmas selection box is finally eaten, the January blues are gone, and spring is on the way.
And to celebrate the warmer weather, I headed to the popular outlet store at the O2 Arena. My experience was nothing short of exhilarating.
My friend and I spent a much-needed few hours shopping at some of our favorite sporting goods like Nike, Skechers, Under Armor, and New Balance.
The store here is definitely great. There’s something for everyone and some great bargains you won’t find on the high street.
Honestly, my favorite sports store was and still is Nike. I love DryFit’s selection and fabric quality, so naturally I headed there first.
Even though I wanted to buy all my running clothes, I settled on a Nike sports bra, Nike high-waisted yoga pants, and a pair of blue shorts with a funky pattern on the front and back.
I was pleasantly surprised when my colleague behind the register told me I was getting 30% off the selection of clothes I was buying. The best bargain of the day was shorts. Initially he was 20 pounds but I bought him for 6 pounds. !
After leaving Nike very satisfied, we took a look at the Adidas and Under Armor stores next door. There you’ll find a wealth of products suitable for all types of training, including supportive leggings and durable trainers.
I was fitness shopping and wanted to keep my dopamine levels up, so I also took some vitamin B12 at the health shop Holland and Barrett.
The Holland and Barrett store at the O2 Arena is stocked with vitamins, supplements, sports nutrition, natural beauty, gluten-free and vegan food, perfect for anyone looking to further their fitness regime.
My last shopping of the day was at Asics and I bought a pair of black double layer shorts. This is an absolute must-have for running in the summer.
The O2 Arena outlet store is nothing short of spectacular. If you want to spruce up your activewear with popular brands, this is a great place to start.
But our fitness fun day didn’t end here. My friends and I tried Up at the O2 Arena, an adrenaline-pumping experience that climbs the world-famous roof.
Our instructor for this challenge was a wonderful employee named Freya. He instructed us on safety precautions, strapped us into harnesses, and navigated us as we ascended high into the air.
I’m quite the adrenaline junkie and love to challenge new heights, so I found this experience both thrilling and yet oddly peaceful.
As we gained altitude, the panoramic views became more and more breathtaking, with landmarks such as the River Thames, Canary Wharf and the historic Greenwich Observatory unfolding before us as we sipped on Prosecco. I was able to fully enjoy it all. Go to the observation point at the top of O2.
Your safety is paramount throughout the entire experience, as your expert guide Freya provides guidance and assistance every step of the way. So if you want to try your hand at mountain climbing, the staff here are great and will answer any questions you may have and provide peace of mind. heart.
Whether you’re a thrill seeker looking for an adrenaline rush or simply looking for a new perspective of London, climbing to the roof of the O2 Arena is an experience not to be missed.
The perfect activity for individuals, families, and groups of friends looking to enjoy an unforgettable adventure in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
After shopping, climbing mountains, and walking over 10,000 steps, my friend and I headed to Rodizio Rico, a Brazilian restaurant inside the O2.
Rodizio Rico offers a unique dining experience for authentic Brazilian Churrascaria, including delicious all-you-can-eat meats and a buffet fit for a king.
The food selection on the buffet was unlike anything I’ve seen before, and we enjoyed some amazing dishes, including garlic chicken pasta, fried fish, beef lasagna, and cheesy baked bread.
To taste the meat here, customers are given a card with one side red and the other green.
If you want more meat, turn your card green; if you’re full or need a break, turn your card red. We thought this was a unique concept and a great asset for O2.
The taste of each meat was divine, and my friend and I enjoyed the sirloin steak, beef ribs, sausage, chicken wings, thighs, and bacon-wrapped chicken. Every part was exceptional and it’s no exaggeration to say we made the most of our visit here.
For the full Rodizio Rico experience, customers pay £39.10 and can literally eat as much as they want. It’s worth every penny, especially for meat lovers and those who prefer a casual and enjoyable dining experience.
All in all, spending the day at the O2 Arena was a memorable experience that combined entertainment, dining and shopping in one vibrant destination.
Whether you’re looking to take on a new fitness challenge, find a bargain or enjoy a fancy dinner this year, you’re sure to have a day filled with fun, excitement and unforgettable moments.
