EastAsiaSoft has announced that it will be publishing a physical execution of the turn-based RPG developed by Softstar. Xuanyuan Sword: Gate of the Sky The game was originally released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in 2016.
This version of the game features enhancements such as improved load times, higher resolution graphics, and all previous downloadable content, and is said to be the definitive way to play.
Xuanyuan Sword: Gate of the Sky It marks a significant evolution of the celebrated Xuan Yuan Sword franchise, which blends Chinese mythology and historical elements of the Shang Dynasty into an engaging role-playing game experience. This entry introduces players to a richly woven story set in ancient China, enhanced by a 3D presentation and real-time combat system.
The game’s story explores the aftermath of the Jade Emperor’s decision to open the Gates of Heaven, bringing unexpected chaos to the mortal world. Players will follow Shikong Yu and his allies on a journey to restore balance and peace. Xuanyuan Sword: Firmamen’s GateDeep gameplay mechanics stand out, including spirit-infused pots for demon synthesis and equipment enhancement, a guardian system to support allies in battle, and a miracle system to amplify attack strategies. Combining a captivating story, strategic combat, and beautiful scenery, this RPG offers a deep exploration of Chinese lore and an innovative addition to the Xuanyuan sword tradition.
