Sonic X Shadow Generations pre-orders – PC discounts, physical edition bonuses, and more

Sonic X Shadow Generations launches on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 25th. The new game includes a remaster of Sonic Generations, which was originally released on Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2011, as well as an all-new story campaign featuring Shadow the Hedgehog. Pre-orders for Sonic X Shadow Generations are available now, and those who purchase the game early will receive special bonuses, including three days of early access if they purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition. PC players can purchase both the standard and Digital Deluxe Editions (Steam keys) at a discount on GameSpot’s sister site Fanatical.

Sonic X Shadow Generations Pre-order Bonus

Pre-orders for Sonic X Shadow Generations will get you the Sonic Adventure Legacy skin, based on Sonic’s low-poly 3D look from Sonic Adventure on the SEGA Dreamcast. This classic cosmetic item is included with all physical and digital pre-orders for PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

If you pre-order the physical version, you’ll also get the Gerald Robotnik’s Journal collectible book, which details the world-changing origins of Shadow the Hedgehog from Dr. Robotnik’s (Eggman) perspective, and is included with pre-orders for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X.

Finally, if you opt for the Digital Deluxe version, you’ll get access to the game three days early, starting October 22nd.

The Sonic X Shadow Generations Standard Edition will be available in physical and digital editions and will include the full base game on select platforms, plus the Sonic Adventure Legacy skin and pre-order bonus of Gerald Robotnik’s Journal (the book is only included with physical pre-orders).

Physical copies for PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox are available to pre-order on Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop for $50, and while the Xbox disc gives you access to both the Series X and Xbox One versions of the game, the physical edition for PlayStation users is only available for the PS5.

The PC version is available to purchase on Fanatical for $43.49.
