NEWTOWN, Pa. — Bucks County Community College’s College Recovery Program (CRP) will host a free recovery and mental health community resource fair on Saturday, March 9th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Linksz Pavilion in New Town. Campus, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown 18940.
During the fair, community members can interact with more than 30 organizations in Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties to learn about resources and assistance for: Substance use disorders and recovery. harm reduction; mental health; suicide; grief; eating disorders; domestic violence; and sexual health and wellness.

Nicholas Emey, associate executive director of NAMI Bucks County, an affiliate of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), will be the keynote speaker at the event.
Emey is a mental health advocate and speaker who has been in continuous recovery from mental illness and substance use for eight years. He is also a survivor of three suicide attempts. Emey, a Bucks County resident, carries out his NAMI mission to provide support, hope, awareness and opportunity to his 600,000 residents in the county.
