TangerangR&B sensation Agnes Mo shared her insights on maintaining mental and emotional health. According to her, in order to avoid stress, it is important to avoid a toxic work environment.
“Many diseases in life are closely related to stress. Stress can lead to various other diseases,” Agnes said during a visit to the BTV office in Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 (PIK) district, Tangerang, Banten, on Monday.
Agnes acknowledged the most effective ways to combat stress and stressed the importance of making sure your surroundings, friends, work and overall situation are not toxic.
“You have to ask yourself, do you want to live in a toxic work environment, do you want to have toxic friends, do you want to be in a toxic situation? If not, then you need to get out of that situation for the sake of your mental health,” she added.
“If you find it difficult to quit, you must make an effort to change the situation to suit your hopes and aspirations. If you cannot fight for a comfortable environment, it is time to quit,” she asserted.

Agnes said toxic environments will always be present in life, hence encouraging everyone to maintain their mental health.
“The key is to always find a way out of such situations. My goal in life is to achieve success while maintaining a good mental state, so I stay away from toxic elements so I can continue creating and achieving without worrying about others,” she concluded.
She also encourages the younger generation in Indonesia to pursue creativity and avoid anything that may be harmful to their mental health.
“To stay healthy, just avoid negative thoughts, as well as thinking about and gossiping about others. It’s as simple as that,” she said.
