Bollywood star Rakul Preet Singh is known for her dedication to fitness and shares her progress with her fans and followers on social media. Singh, 33, posted a video of herself working out like a pro on a leg press machine at the gym, wearing black leggings and a gray tank top. “The struggle is always extra real 🤪🤪 #fitnessaddict #wayoflife #100kgs,” she captioned her impressive video. Singh recently adopted a completely vegan lifestyle. Here’s how she keeps her healthy and happy.
Singh started by experimenting with veganism and turned it into a complete lifestyle. “I had never thought of turning vegan, but it came out of the blue and I no longer felt the desire to eat non-vegetarian food.” she said health shot. “The more I got into meditation, the more I started to feel a difference on the days I ate a vegetarian diet. I don’t eat meat every meal, but I feel better when I eat vegan or vegetarian food. After trying it out a bit,
Singh eats vegan versions of his favorite Indian dishes. “I eat basic Indian food. Roti is either rice atta or jowar.” she said health shot. “I’m cutting back on grains at the moment so I don’t eat much jowar. I can literally live on sweet potatoes alone. My diet has a lot of vegetables and one of my most favorite foods is Thai curry and rice. When people hear that, I eat rice. They are really surprised. Yes, I eat rice for both lunch and dinner. It’s a good carb, but there’s a difference between good carbs and bad carbs. Yes, I don’t eat it, you can eat cholebatur, but it’s part of a vegan diet.”
Singh is an avid yogi. But she wasn’t like that from the beginning. “I’ve never been a yoga person.” she said Grazia India. “I have always been interested in health, sports and fitness.Yoga came into my life two years ago.As an adrenaline junkie, I thought yoga was very boring. , I believed yoga was for older people. But it wasn’t for me.”
Shin is surrounded by people who keep him grounded. “It’s important to have someone in your life who loves you for who you are.” she said Elle India. “Most of my friends aren’t in this industry, so when we do meet up, we take some time off from work to meet up…When I’m with my daughters, we do crazy things.”
Singh advises anyone looking to overhaul their lifestyle to start slowly. “Any lifestyle change will only happen if it’s your choice and you really want it to happen.” she said health shot. “It’s like an experiment you do on yourself, and if it works, you can continue. No one can force you to give up meat. No one can force you to adapt to any lifestyle. You can’t force it, and exercise is also important.” “It’s a mission, and when you start noticing changes in yourself, that’s when you want to do it.”
