The new Samsung Galaxy Ring is a unisex fitness, health and sleep monitor designed to be worn 24/7 on your finger, like a smartwatch or fitness tracker. The ring collects data and shares it with your Galaxy smartphone, which uses AI to create personalized, real-time health analytics and discover trends related to your activity levels, sleep patterns and overall health.
The Galaxy Ring is made from durable titanium and has an elegant, lightweight design. Behind the ring are three sensors that collect heart rate, skin temperature, movement and sleep data. This means the Samsung Health app can detect and notify users of any abnormalities, such as an elevated or irregular heart rate, elevated body temperature or poor sleep habits.

The Galaxy Ring will function for up to one week before needing to be recharged. The cradle will provide one additional full charge before needing external power. Because it’s important that the ring fits your finger perfectly, it comes in nine sizes. If you’re not sure of your ring size, a free sizing kit is available.
The rings are available in three color options: titanium black, titanium silver, and titanium gold. All are waterproof (IP68 rated), scratch resistant, and designed to work seamlessly with other Galaxy devices using Bluetooth 5.4, including the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6The ring itself is 7mm wide, 2.5mm thick, and weighs between 0.0081 and 0.11 ounces (depending on the ring size).
The Galaxy Ring is available to order now for $400, and Samsung will let you finance it for $16.67 per month for 24 months. The best thing about the device is that it can collect and analyze much of the same health, fitness, and sleep data as a Fitbit, but it’s more comfortable and easy to wear.
