Cairo Nutrition is heading to the US with Neiman Marcus.
The Brisbane, Australia-based supplement brand will be hitting 10 Neiman’s doors in Texas, California, Arizona and Florida this week with its collagen and nutrient-infused powders, including gut-healthy versions of FeelWell ($129) and Lookwell. Expand. $129, Beauty Enhancing Formula. The entire lineup focuses on beauty, sleep, and gut health.
Founded in 2018 by Kath Merlo and Christy Morris, The Chiro Company began with a flagship medi-spa at Brisbane’s Calil Hotel, offering massages, facials, laser treatments, infusions, injections and more. The luxury medi spa has been a success in Australia, welcoming more than 30,000 guests a year and winning numerous awards, but due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), Merlot and Morris have had limited success domestically. I decided to launch a brand that could bring out the best. After two years of her development in collaboration with functional medicine doctors, nutritionists, and naturopaths, Kailo Nutrition was launched with a focus on powders.
“It’s an easy way to incorporate it into your day,” Morris said of the powder format. “What should be taken is [to equal what’s] One of our products is about 20 tablets. ”
While powder supplements are becoming more popular across the wellness category, especially with the rise of the Sleepy Girl mocktail, which uses magnesium powder, Morris believes the brand’s high collagen infusions of up to 19 grams are a key differentiator. He said that.
In addition, Morris said the powder allows users to be creative with the product and create smoothies, muffins, acai bowls and more. It’s this kind of effort that the brand is leveraging for its U.S. launch. To increase brand awareness, Morris and team plan to host events throughout Neiman and his Marcus stores. Think pop-up smoothie shops, mocktail bars, and medspa experiences featuring the brand’s products. The team will be at the Neiman location every six weeks for brand events.
However, the brand is entering the U.S. market with some exposure, as it was featured in Kourtney Kardashian Barker’s Poosh gift guide and was included in gift bags at last year’s Oscars.
That’s not the only connection to Hollywood. The brand has also tapped actor and podcast host Kate Hudson’s brother Oliver Hudson as an ambassador, as well as Australian influencers, actresses and models Ellie Gonsalves, Jennifer Lopez and Ryan Seacrest. Jay Cardiello, a health and fitness expert who has worked with celebrities. .
Morris said the brand is fully focused on launching Neiman Marcus next year, but also has its eyes on continued expansion in the United States.
“Within five years, we’d like to have a flagship store here,” she said, suggesting New York City or Los Angeles as possible locations.
Morris said the 10 stores were chosen intentionally based on feedback from Neiman’s regarding which stores are performing best in wellness. Currently, both teams expect Kailo Nutrition’s weekly sales to reach his $10,000 mark, and if they reach this goal, the brand could launch in even more locations.
