Mountain View, California, July 29, 2024 ,PRNewswire/ — El Camino Healthcare District and El Camino Health have announced that both organizations $11.15 million Grants and sponsorships to support local health programs and initiatives in fiscal year 2025. The El Camino Health and El Camino Healthcare District boards of directors have awarded a combined 104 grant applications In fiscal year 2013, 12 new programs It is for organizations that are committed to addressing the health needs of members of their local community.

Funding provided through each organization’s Community Benefit Program will include Campbell, Cupertino, Tall People, Los Altos Hills, Cats, Mountain View, St. Joseph, St. Claire, Saratoga and Sunnyvale.

Agencies and programs awarded grants include school districts, nonprofits, safety net clinics and community service agencies. $11.15 million:
- $4.98 $1 million will be provided to agencies expanding access to and delivery of health care.
- $2.90 $1 million will support behavioral health programs.
- $2.11 $1 million will go towards diabetes and obesity programs.
- $554,000 It specializes in programs that address other chronic conditions such as asthma and high blood pressure.
- $594,000 It will go to agencies and programs that improve economic stability or provide food and housing assistance.
Each year, the El Camino Healthcare District and El Camino Health Community Benefits Program allocate significant grant funding for community health services in their mission to expand access to health care across all ages, education levels and income levels. Over the past decade, both programs have $100 million In Community Benefit Grants.
