Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she “doesn’t cheat” now that she’s 50, admitting she enjoys reality TV and takeout food one day a week.

The 51-year-old wellness guru founded her £200m lifestyle empire Goop in 2008 and has since entrenched herself in the world of all things healing.

But Gwyneth revealed in an interview with The Sunday Times that she doesn’t enjoy days spent curled up on the sofa, scoffing at takeaways and binge-watching reality TV.

Goop has faced criticism for its fair share over the years. In 2018, Gwyneth paid a $145,000 (£115,000) settlement over unsubstantiated claims that her jade eggs had hormone-balancing properties.

But Gwyneth admits that since turning 50 in 2022, she doesn’t care as much what people say about her anymore.

“I don’t care. I don’t care. I’m 50 years old. I don’t care what anyone thinks,” she said.

Gwyneth said she had good intentions when starting the company, as she just wanted to add a new perspective to the lifestyle scene, but it hurt to see people so upset about it.

She models health and healing throughout her image, focusing on eating well, balancing your gut microbiome, reducing inflammation, fasting, and avoiding refined sugar.

But Gwyneth can also ditch that and enjoy some junk food while relaxing for the day.

She says, “I love doing nothing on Sundays, watching crappy TV, cooking dinner, and not ordering food.” I really need a lazy day. ”

Gwyneth has admitted that she discovered reality TV during the pandemic, with Love Is Blind and Love on the Spectrum receiving rave reviews as addictive.

Gwyneth said stepping into the reality TV genre was a “slippery slope.”

In November, Gwyneth revealed her take on various healthy habits as she played a hilarious game of “Slay or Nay” and guided fans through some of the healthy habits she values. I made it.

Gwyneth, who claims lemon water, cold water soaks and baths are “killers” because she finds them “really soothing”, recently revealed she quit acting, is a big fan of medicinal mushrooms. There is also.

“I think psychedelics is definitely, and is, the next most interesting area to address mental health,” she exclaimed.

“There’s amazing research coming out about these treatments.”

As for the “slugs” who apply petroleum jelly to their skin to keep them hydrated, the Ironman graduate said he was neutral and called himself a “Swissman.”

“Slugging may seem sticky, but if you get hooked on it, it won’t hurt,” she explained.

When the topic of taping her face to prevent wrinkles came up, the star yelled, “No!”

Gwyneth also revealed a funny anecdote about her famous mother, Blythe Danner.

“When I was little, I remember my mom putting triangular pieces of tape on my forehead called fraunies. But I didn’t really have many wrinkles on my forehead, so maybe that helps. ” she recalled.
