Limited Run Games will handle both physical releases. Pricing for Hi-Fi Rush hasn’t been disclosed, but the company has already posted a physical release listing for Pentiment, which will retail for $34.99 regardless of platform. As with previous releases, the physical version of Pentiment is available for a limited time with a pre-order period. Starting tomorrow and ending March 24, 2024.
The announcement comes just one day after Xbox boss Phil Spencer said he still “supports” physical media despite rumors that the Xbox brand is pivoting to a digital-centric business. It was conducted. “And removing the physical stuff is not a strategic thing for us,” Spencer said in a recent interview with Game File.
In addition to Pentiment and Hi-Fi Rush, two other Xbox first-party games releasing on multiple platforms are Obsidian’s survival title Ground and Rare’s pirate-themed action game Sea of Thieves.
