PALM COAST, Fla. — A man applying to become a recruit with the Frazier County Sheriff’s Office felt sick during a physical fitness test. He died shortly after being taken to the hospital. The Daytona Beach News Journal reported.
Austin Ross, 26, sat down to rest after feeling dizzy during the test, the report said. The test administrator immediately called the fire department, who loaded Ross into an ambulance and took him to the hospital.
According to reports, Ross lost his pulse on the way to the hospital. Doctors in the ambulance were able to revive Ross, but she died on arrival at the hospital.
