Rachel Finch shared the hair disaster that happened to her after using an old curling iron.
In a video shared to her Instagram Stories, the fitness influencer explained that her expensive GHF hairstyling equipment had broken.
The 36-year-old took out a pair of curling tongs she’d bought 14 years ago and tried to use them to style her hair.
However, her hair ended up looking unnaturally wavy, and she shared the “failure” with her fans online.
“I had to use these random tongs that I’ve had for 14 years, and they just didn’t work,” she says in the video, shaking her curls wild.
This comes after the beauty queen spoke to FEMAIL about her usual diet.
“Every day is different. I try to vary the foods I eat to get the right balance of vitamins and minerals my body needs,” Rachel says.
“When I wake up, I drink a big glass of water, sometimes with a squeeze of lemon and apple cider vinegar, and then I immediately have coffee with coconut milk,” she explained.
Speaking of breakfast, Rachel says: “I love starting my day with a hearty bowl of quinoa and vanilla porridge. It’s one of my favourites and so easy to make.”

When it comes to lunch, “I try to pack my plate with every color of the rainbow. I’ve found that the best way to do this is to create a macro bowl with everything from bell peppers, sweet potatoes, eggs, nuts, seeds, leafy greens, etc,” the model explained.
For dinner, I made chicken coconut curry using chicken thighs, vegetables, and coconut milk. I eat it with rice. I make a lot so there’s leftovers!
As for snacks, she said, “The snack menu in my program is pretty fancy. We have things like cauliflower bites, bliss balls, kale, olives and lemon pesto, sometimes with seed crackers.”
Rachel also shared a bit about her winter training routine.
“During the winter months, I consciously change up my workout routine and incorporate foods rich in iron, zinc and vitamin C to keep my energy levels high and avoid the winter blues,” the Body by Finch founder said.
“I recently created a free 30-minute HIIT Body by Finch workout exclusively on Groupon that incorporates some of my favorite ways to warm up in the winter.”
“Cold weather can sometimes make it harder to bundle up and exercise at home, so I try to incorporate at-home routines into my winter training program, whether that’s a HIIT workout or just some relaxing stretches in the living room to keep me moving.”
