Healthcare in the Lake District Bridgeway Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit in Fergus Falls will be closed. Leaders point to staffing shortages, rising costs and declining patient numbers. The hospital will continue to provide outpatient mental health services, but will partner with inpatient units in the region, including an inpatient unit in Fargo.
College enrollment across the Minnesota State University system is reportedly increasing for the first time in more than a decade. The system includes Minnesota State University-Moorhead, Minnesota State Community & Technical College, and 31 other schools across the state.
