Police were called to Blaze Walk in Sea Mills on February 18 where they found three children deceased.
The bodies of three children were discovered, and a 42-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder was detained under the Mental Health Act.
Avon and Somerset Police said the woman was taken into custody after being assessed by medical professionals.
The force added that the investigation into the death is continuing.
In a statement on Friday afternoon, police said: “The woman was arrested in the early hours of Sunday, February 18 at a property in Blaze Walk and taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening bodily injuries.” .
“She continues to receive treatment for these injuries.
Police said Fares (left), his sister Julie, and 9-month-old brother Mohamed could not be saved.
“On Wednesday, February 28, she was examined by medical professionals and a decision was made to detain her under the Mental Health Act.”

Chief Inspector Vic Heyward-Mellen said: “As the nation continues to come to terms with this terrible tragedy, the community continues to come together in grief over the heartbreaking deaths of Fares, Julie and Mohammed. we know.”
“We continue to be extremely grateful for the support and kindness shown by the people of Sea Mills and beyond.
“All those affected by this tragedy remain in our thoughts and we will continue to provide specialist support to the children’s next of kin.
“Throughout the investigation, we have been committed to providing updates and being transparent about important developments so that everyone understands what happened, and we will continue to do so.”
