CRPF recognises the immense benefits that yoga offers in bringing harmony and balance in life and is committed to incorporating yoga at all levels of the organisation. CRPF encourages its courageous personnel to incorporate yoga into their and their families’ daily lives to improve their overall health and wellbeing.
What is CRPF?
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is India’s internal security and combat force operating under the Government of India with its primary role of helping to police state territories, maintain law and order and counter insurgency.
The CRPF plays a vital but often overlooked role in the defense of vital central government installations such as airports, power plants, bridges, Durdarshan Kendras, All India Radio stations, Governor and Chief Minister’s official residences, nationalised banks and various government offices in insurgency-affected states.
In these conflict zones, the CRPF ensures the security of democratic institutions and prevents extremist groups from dominating civil society.

This year’s event focuses on the profound impact yoga has on young minds and bodies, aiming to unite thousands of people through the practice of yoga and promote health and wellness around the world.
The theme, “Yoga for Self and Society”, emphasises the vital role of yoga in enhancing both individual well-being and social harmony.
Several Union Ministers and other leaders took part in the yoga sessions held in different parts of the country.
