Winner — Bruna Seredić
Seredić has finished in the top 10 at Olympia twice during his career. Because of her experience, she was expected to be a candidate for this show. For Seredić, this was her first contest appearance of 2024. She received a perfect score from the judges. The head judge was Steve DeVore.
The victory gave Seredić a choice. She can focus on her third career Olympia appearance or continue her competition throughout her season. If she competes in and wins more pro shows, it will prevent other contestants from qualifying for her 2024 Olympia, as only pro show winners can earn Olympia spots. There is a possibility. Even if she competes again and doesn’t win, her Olympia spot is guaranteed.
2nd Place — Cassandra Pennington
Pennington started his second year as a professional with all second-place votes on the scorecards. This was her third career pro show since she previously placed second at the 2023 Southern California Pro. To qualify for the 2024 Olympia, Pennington must win a pro show by the September 15, 2024 deadline.
3rd Place — Natalia Vasco
Vasco turned pro in 2022. She has finished in the top three in all three of her pro shows to date. Her most recent appearance before this show was the 2022 Sean Ray Hawaiian Classic, where she placed third. Vasco did not play in the 2023 season.
Other notes
Australia’s Alicia Self placed fourth in the competition. Self also won the Masters 35+ category of this competition. The over 40 winner was Jenny Smith who finished the open show in 7th place.
The next Wellness Division competition on the 2024 season schedule is the Houston Tournament of Champions Pro on Saturday, March 30, 2024 in The Woodlands, Texas. The 2023 champion was Amanda Barnett.
