The return of physical releases continues to gain momentum (well, maybe), as it has been announced that popular deck-building roguelike game Balatro will be released as a special physical edition in the future.
The news, which followed news that Alan Wake 2 was also getting the same treatment, was announced as a surprise by Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb on the first day of the site’s Giant Bomb at Nite show.
Pricing for this special edition, which will come with a booster pack and a joker card, has yet to be determined, but pre-orders are expected to open soon.
The news was later reconfirmed more officially via a post on X from developer LocalThunk. account:
