The couple wanted their guests to feel welcome and connected throughout their multi-day celebration, “which allowed us to spend time together on our wedding day, which was a top priority for us,” Decker says.
The celebration kicked off with a welcome party on the rooftop of the Westin on the Thursday before the wedding, followed by an “intimate and fun” rehearsal dinner at the venue the following evening.
On the couple’s wedding day, an emotional moment occurred at the very end of the ceremony, when Decker’s father drove her to the venue in his 1947 Hudson. When Wyatt heard the car approaching, “I felt the tears well up,” he said. “Her father helping me get her out of the car was something I never expected in my life.”

He added: “It was also funny because before she came out the dress was layered over her so all you could see was a giant ball of white fluff inside.”

The bride wore three different dresses for her big day. “I love dressing up, so trying on dresses and deciding to wear three dresses in one night was so much fun,” she says.
For her wedding, she chose a custom Nicole & Felicia ballgown with a floral skirt. “When I tried on the dress, I was completely in love and knew it was the dress for me,” she says. She then changed into a “Justin Alexander mermaid-inspired” dress for the reception, feeling “so feminine and beautiful.”
And finally, for the after-party, she chose a sparkly gold Milanova dress with a subtle slit. “I wanted something fun and comfortable,” she added.
Wyatt opted for a sleek white tuxedo with black detailing and a bow tie.
At the reception, guests enjoyed a three-course family-style dinner including pesto tortellini and slices of sirloin with chimichurri sauce. The bride’s father-in-law, Sam Hall, and maid of honor, Mollie King, gave speeches “full of laughter, tears and memories.”
The newlyweds tried to choose a song for their first dance “for the last year,” but ultimately chose an original song that Wyatt wrote for Decker. “Something Like You” was recorded with the help of friend and producer Josh Barker and was “one of my favorite moments of our wedding,” Decker says.
The cake cutting was private (peanut butter cup flavor), and churros and tiramisu were also available for dessert.
The weekend ended with a farewell brunch on Sunday, where guests included Paul DiGiovanni, Katie Stevens, Dylan Barbour, Hannah Godwin Barbour, Garrett Powell and Jackie Lee.
