If there’s one person we trust when it comes to fitness tips and tricks, it’s three-time Olympic medalist Lindsey Vonn. The retired alpine ski racer offered some sage wisdom about training on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Long weekend is over and back to work!” Vonn wrote. “The most important thing about going to the gym, no matter what you do, is to keep going. Get into the habit of moving and you’ll see results 💪🏻.”
The 39-year-old athlete, who has won 82 World Cups, also noted that his daily training focuses on his glutes and core, with a bit of cardio thrown in as well. “Slow and steady wins the race of life,” Bonn added.
The accompanying reel showed Vonn hard at work at the gym wearing a red-orange athleisure set by Project Rock. Her message clearly resonated with many of her 2.2 million followers, with many taking to the comments section to give feedback.
“Love this advice!!!🙌💪💪,” one person wrote.
“Consistency 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽,” someone else applauded.
“True. I’ve said it all along,” another user agreed. “Life is not a sprint. It’s a marathon. It’s about survival.”
Others, however, pointed out how cute Vonn’s sweatshirt was. Her dog Leo was seen walking around or sitting in the background in many of her videos.
“🐶Watch carefully as your new PT😉,” one follower joked, to which Bon replied, “Leo is the best❤.”
