The Sweat Box is a welcoming and welcoming group fitness studio with a motto of “everyone.”
Everyone who enjoys Casey Vanac’s Mentor gym and staff will feel welcome at the new location.
After opening in Garfield Park in 2021, The Sweat Box has relocated to 8920 Mentor Avenue – Unit H in a familiar strip mall with establishments between Marie’s Chocolates and Manhattan Deli.
Sweat Box currently offers Spin, Pilates, Zumba, Rockstar Burn, Spin and Strength, Pedal and Pulse, Yoga, and Pound classes taught by nine fully certified instructors.
The change in location is a sign of the need and popularity of the Garfield Park center for Vanack, who grew up in Painesville, graduated from Harvey High School in 2011, dropped out of Kent State University after two years of business classes, and then went to Lakeland. It was born from. There she earned a degree in early childhood education.
Vanac said all of TSB’s instructors have the knowledge to work with all body types and fitness levels. All classes are suitable for beginners and also for those who have been training for years.
“Our studio is non-intimidating and you’ll feel like you belong here the moment you walk in our door,” Vanack said. “Sweatbox is more than just a gym, it’s a community. We guarantee that other members will greet you with a smile, and there’s a good chance you know at least one person who attends our classes. there is.”
Vanac lives in Mentor with her fiancé, newborn son, and four stepchildren. She has been teaching fitness classes since 2017. Initially, her expectations were not very high, but the response to her TSB and its rapid popularity led to her transfer to a new location.
“My goal when I started TSB was to have enough members to pay my rent every month,” Vanack said. “We needed 10 members. Soon we had over 120 members and are continuing to grow.”
“I started coming to this (new) location five years ago when it was SolSprint Cycling Studio and fell in love with the atmosphere and space,” Vanack added. “We’re so excited to be back where it all started.”
Members of The Sweat Box community agree with Vanac that the welcoming, low-pressure atmosphere is a big reason for their loyalty, regardless of location.
Angela Schultz has been with TSB since it first opened and loved the pound and spin classes so much that she decided to get certified to work at TSB.
“It’s been great to see the class grow from two to six to 12 to 20 students. It’s a welcoming atmosphere that welcomes everyone without judgment,” Schultz said. . “Just fun, music, friends, and great training. I can’t wait to see what this new space has to offer. The new studio brings so many new opportunities and room to grow.”
Gabi Bright agrees that beyond the health benefits of the classes, she feels safe and relaxed at The Sweat Box and no longer experiences what she calls “gym anxiety.”
“My favorite thing about TSB is that I feel so comfortable there,” Bright said. “I’ve always had ‘gym anxiety’ and have never felt comfortable in other gyms. When I stepped into his TSB for the first time, I felt like I had found my place. A passion for working out was born.
“When they say, ‘Come as you are,’ they really mean it. I love the classes and the people, and I couldn’t ask for a better gym owner than Casey.”
Brenda Thompson, Caitlin Hall and Casey Ziccarelli are among the list of loyal supporters of The Sweat Box, echoing the sentiments of other customers when it comes to comfort levels and an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere doing.
