TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Stormont Vail Health announced on Monday, July 29, the hiring of Dr. Dana Awad, a board-certified physician specializing in endocrinology, diabetology and metabolism.
Awad will join the endocrinology team and provide medical care at the Cotton O’Neill Diabetes and Endocrinology Center.
Awad was born in Jordan and grew up in the UAE, and says becoming a doctor has been his lifelong dream.
Awad’s background is as follows:
- He received his medical degree from the University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
- Creighton University Internal Medicine Residency
- University of Nebraska Medical Center Endocrinology Fellowship
Awad wants to help people suffering from lifelong illnesses live healthier lives.
