Sakonnet Vineyards is launching a yoga series this summer.
This five-part class series is part of the Vineyard’s partnership with Danielle Ceroni. Danielle is a registered Yoga Alliance RYT-200 yoga teacher through Believe You Can Yoga Teacher Training in Bristol, RI. Danielle has been practicing yoga since 2021. She is a licensed physical therapist and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Springfield College in 2020. She works full-time as a physical therapist at University Orthopedics, Inc., Kettle Point, East Providence, RI.
The first class, held on July 13 at 10 a.m., will be a Baptiste-inspired yoga session amid the vineyards, with a wine reception following the class.
The remaining classes are on August 10, August 17, September 9 and September 21. Each class will run from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and cost $20 per person. The fee includes a one-hour yoga class and a glass of wine. Those interested in attending can register online.
Sakonnet Vineyards was planted in 1975 and encompasses 169 acres. The vineyard is renowned for producing award-winning wines with a focus on quality, sustainability and community. Beginning in the summer of 2024, visitors will also be able to enjoy their favorite Sakonnet wines poured from the barrel on site, at local retailers and select restaurants.
