Tucked away on the second floor of a historic mansion in Forest Park, our bright and inviting yoga studio aims to provide students with heartfelt instruction and inner awareness.
Kind Roots Yoga is a space “made for magical people,” and our goal was and is to create a safe environment for new and seasoned students alike.

“Our purpose is to provide a space for yogis to put down roots and grow in their practice,” says Haley Holdridge, who manages Kind Roots studio. “Our studio is filled with local art, lush plants, and loving humans to create a welcoming, homely atmosphere that helps students get on the mat with stability and ease.”
Holdridge believes that stereotypes about yoga should be challenged, including what it is and who should try it. “We believe that yoga is for everyone, regardless of physical or mental ‘ability’. Yoga is a complex and intricate tradition that covers much more than just downward dog and chaturanga, and is actually a practice for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of their body, mind, and soul. ”
The studio offers a variety of vinyasa style flow, yin yoga, acroyoga, and restorative yoga classes. All of their instructors bring unique strengths and expertise to the studio space to provide a well-rounded selection of classes.
“Kind Roots values many healing modalities, including professional massage therapy, Reiki, and our signature reflexology and energy work sessions, Palm and Soul,” Holdridge said. explains. “We are a group of passionate teachers and skilled healers who provide a safe space for the body and mind to relax and unwind.”

Through all of these classes and offerings, the studio aims to provide students with the tools and guidance they need to become mindful yogis, with the main purpose of spreading kindness.
