Matthew believes his psoriasis, a skin disease that causes flaky patches on the skin, is caused by pressure and stress.

Matthew was well aware of fan comments and criticism at the time.
He said: “There’s a lot of news that comes out bashing the way you play a character and bashing people who try to tear you down. All of this has had a huge impact on my life.”
Nevertheless, Matthew is extremely proud of the show and his role in its success.
He said: “In short, I loved the experience and was grateful for the experience itself, but it was really hard, working your body hard for 16 hours a day, and then doing all the other things you have to do. “It was tough to get through” at the top of that.
“And I don’t feel sorry for it, because it was a great occasion. But we were all there. It was like a war.”
