Mulan pursued a rigorous academic path, earning her International Baccalaureate diploma from Clearwater Central Catholic High School before attending the University of Florida, majoring in biology and minoring in business. During her undergraduate years, Mullan conducted research at the University of California Cancer Genetics Institute. She then earned her Doctor of Chiropractic license at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange. Mulan also worked as a preceptor for Tampa Bay Lightning chiropractor Dr. Tim Bain.
“I realized that a typical medication-based track wasn’t something I had a passion for,” Moulin said. “Instead, I had a passion for getting people off painkillers and reversing the opioid epidemic, not potentially fueling it.”
