Alan Wake 2: Night Springs DLC launches June 8 for Xbox Series X|S
According to the PlayStation Blog, the Night Springs DLC will include three standalone episodes and will have you playing as some familiar faces. “Step into the shoes of #1 Fan, who bears a striking resemblance to waitress Rose Marigold, and battle the shadows in pursuit of truth and love, armed with your trusty shotgun,” the blog post reads. “As the actor known as ‘Shawn Ashmore’ in some realities and ‘Sheriff Timothy Breaker’ in others, you’ll take on the mantle of Timebreaker and take down the baddies who are hunting you down. And in the North Star episode, you’ll unravel coffee-related secrets and the mysteries of cosmic caffeine as the Sibling, familiar to those who know Federal Bureau of Control Director Jesse Faden.”
The Night Springs DLC adds 12 new Xbox achievements to unlock, four per episode.
To access the Night Springs DLC, you’ll need to purchase the Deluxe Edition of the game or the Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Upgrade. As far as we know, Night Springs won’t be sold on its own.
Additionally, photo mode will be added to Alan Wake 2 as part of a free update on June 8th.
Remedy has also announced Deluxe and Collector’s Edition physical versions of Alan Wake 2, which will be available for pre-order from June 8th and will be released this fall.
