Sweat & Sip – Valentine Week Edition

Work out with Joy Bitonio of KOMO Studio and Jono Blodgett of Mauka Makai Fitness, take part in the Cold Plunge Challenge, mingle over complimentary cocktails, and listen to live music from DJ Miko. Free self and valet parking is available. Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle, towel, and bathing suit or change of clothes in case it gets cold. The first 30 guests will receive a swag bag at check-in. Proceeds will be donated to local nonprofits including Make-A-Wish Hawaii, Honolulu Museum of Art, Sustainable Coastlines, Awe New School, and the Hawaii Community Foundation.

Hawaiian forest symphony
Thursday, February 15th, 6-7 p.m.
Under the direction of Maestro Dane Lam, the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra will present the world premiere of an interactive concert that combines music, art, science, hula, and storytelling. His six movements of the symphony were composed by artists and Hawaiian musicians and weave together stories that encourage appreciation of Hawaii’s native forests. Each piece combines animation inspired by keiki artwork, narration by singer Star Karahiki, and a hula performance.
