NEW DELHI: Ahead of International Yoga Day on June 21, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reiterated his resolve to make yoga an integral part of his life and urged people to encourage others to do so too.
In 10 days, the world will mark the 10th International Day of Yoga, celebrating the timeless practice of yoga, which celebrates unity and harmony, he told X.
Yoga transcends cultural and geographical boundaries and connects millions of people across the world in the pursuit of holistic wellness, the Prime Minister said.
“As we approach this year’s Yoga Day, it is imperative that we reiterate our resolve to make yoga an integral part of our lives and encourage others to make it a part of their lives too,” said PM Modi. “Yoga provides a sanctuary of silence, enabling us to surmount life’s challenges with calm and fortitude,” he said, and also released a series of videos showcasing different forms of yoga and their benefits.
