July 5 (UPI) — Willie Nelson returned to the stage on Thursday night after a string of health issues in recent weeks.
The 91-year-old singer-songwriter appeared at the Fourth of July Independence Day Picnic Concert in Camden, New Jersey, after missing several shows due to illness.

Nelson’s team shared a video on Instagram that showed him walking onto the stage as fans cheered and applauded.
“He’s bbaaaccckkkkk,” the caption reads.
According to Consequence, Nelson performed more than 20 songs, including “On the Road Again” and “Always on My Mind.”
This appearance was made by Nelson himself. Outlaw Music Festival The tour was cancelled in late June due to illness.
“We are pleased to announce that Willie Nelson is not feeling well and has been advised by his doctor to rest for the next four days. He is expected to recover quickly and be back on tour next week for the Outlaw Music Festival,” his team announced on June 21.
