After losing 30 pounds in just three months, Raven-Symoné is feeling better than ever and opened up about her progress in an exclusive interview on “Good Morning America” on Friday. He revealed the route.

“I’m not here trying to be a twig,” the “That’s So Raven” alum told “GMA.” “I’m not trying to be like, ‘Oh my god, look at me.’ I have a goal, and it’s not just weight loss, it’s really complete physical health.”

The 35-year-old explained that she is “as low carb as possible” and does “minimal exercise.” She added that one of her secrets is “avid fasting” and that she will make sure to do “a minimum of 14 hours of fasting” between dinner and breakfast.

Simone also practices longer fasts, a method she carefully taught herself, and gets through them by drinking lots of water and electrolytes, and drinking bone broth when the going gets tough.

“I don’t try to speak for anyone else,” she said, noting that this is her formula and what works for her.

Simone has been in the spotlight since she was three years old, starring on “The Cosby Show,” becoming a Disney Channel teen sensation, and co-hosting “The View” for three seasons as an adult. Served. Along with her fame came her stress and emotional eating.

The actress recalled a time in 2011 when she lost 70 pounds but felt unable to celebrate her accomplishment.

“The way people treated me when I was growing up was mentally damaging,” she said. “So, when I lost weight…I remember the moment I stepped out on the red carpet, and I was cursing everyone in my head, ‘Wow, now that I’m skinny, you want to look at me. Thank you. ‘”

Simone says losing weight this time isn’t about fitting into a smaller size jeans, it’s about being healthy now to ensure a healthier future for herself and wife Miranda Pearman-Maday. That’s what he said.

“Whenever I’ve lost weight in the past, it’s always been about size,” she said. “I was part of the Hollywood industry, and I couldn’t understand why every time I went on a diet, I ended up gaining weight later.”

The “Raven’s Home” star said she doesn’t want to develop heart disease or type 2 diabetes because of her weight, adding, “I want to make sure my body is healthy and ultimately ready to deal with aging.” I want to make sure that it is,” he added. And you have to start now. ”

“I believe anyone can do it, and I believe that once you understand why, you have great willpower,” she continued. “I feel like this is something that will support me for much longer.”

Simone’s wife, whom she married last summer, also supports her along the way. And the two are embarking on a new journey together. She’s trying to bring fans into her life with her new YouTube channel titled “8pm.”

“You’ll see exercise, movement, cooking, and celebrity guest friends,” Pearman-Maday teased about the type of content everyone can expect.

Simone chimed in, saying, “You’re going to find out what it’s like to live with a lesbian, multiracial couple. And it looks normal, guys. It looks pretty normal.”

Most recently, the three-time Daytime Emmy Award nominee directed a powerful episode of Disney Channel’s “Sydney to the Max,” which explores the social impact of microaggressions, and also works behind the camera. He is demonstrating his talent.
