Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH) will recognize Mental Health Champions and invite nominations for the award at its second annual Mental Health Matters Awards Ceremony on May 23rd. .
“More than one in five adults in the United States has a mental illness,” MCCMH Interim CEO Tracy Smith said in a news release. “The Mental Health Matters Awards are an opportunity to lift, celebrate and formally recognize individuals, professionals and service organizations in Macomb County who work diligently to provide care to these individuals and others. provide us with.
Nominations are being accepted until April 1st.
