A specialist pain and injury healthcare center in Clay Cross is expanding its premises and the range of services it can offer.
The Body Health Center is opening new treatment rooms in addition to open space to offer exercise and rehabilitation classes.
The clinic has a wide range of clinicians including chiropractors, physical therapists, sports massage therapists, foot health practitioners, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, personal trainers, rehabilitation specialists, Reiki, reflexology, cupping and deep oscillation therapy. We have therapists on staff and new and exciting additional therapies available. To come.
Rebecca Stevenson, owner of The Body Health Center, commented: I originally worked as a self-employed worker at a body health center before the opportunity arose to buy a business.
“My vision for the business was to expand our treatment rooms and be recognized as an accredited training center with an awarding body capable of offering sports massage courses and other CPD outcomes.
“Patient care is our top priority and the health and mental well-being of our patients always comes first. All of our clinicians are person-centered, sensitive to their patients’ illnesses, and are dedicated to their areas of expertise. We have very high quality, extensive and specialized knowledge and are able to advise and treat you accordingly.”
The center is also excited to offer a fully accredited Active IQ qualification. This course helps people gain new careers and their newly learned skill sets open doors to new and exciting opportunities in the medical field.
The course includes:
- Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy
- Sports Massage Therapy Level 4 Certification
- Active IQ Level 4 Award Winning Understanding Assessment Process and Practice Internal Quality Assurance
Commenting on the new developments taking place at the centre, Rebecca added: “Our new treatment rooms will allow us to potentially extend our clinic hours, allowing us to see more patients in between our busy lifestyles. Our new open space will allow people to feel comfortable and relaxed. The space will be able to offer small group and one-on-one exercise and rehabilitation classes in a relaxed environment.The room will be used for multiple purposes as a training academy venue.
“We make more personalized appointments with different clinicians and always strive to see patients as quickly as possible. We arrange private MRIs, ultrasounds and X-ray scans, We can do it within a week of referral, without having to wait a long time for results. Referrals from your GP or insurance are also welcome.
“During the coronavirus outbreak, we have been able to take some pressure off the NHS as some of our clinicians are part of Allied Health, with other special requirements. We were able to continue operating and provide pain relief to patients in pain without having to go to the hospital.”
