Elise Keller, who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 33, explores the same question in her TED Talk titled “The Surprising Connection Between Cannabis and Physical and Mental Health.”
Keller considered himself a healthy person. Frustrated by her diagnosis, she sought a way to come to terms with her cancer and move forward.
At the urging of her nurses and other patients, she tried medical marijuana, which significantly reduced her pain, nausea, and anxiety. Keller said that after she met patients with various illnesses who were using cannabis for treatment, she wondered how cannabis could help so many unrelated illnesses. Ta.
“In a nutshell, the reason cannabis is effective for so many different conditions is because it interacts directly with our bodies’ own endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for maintaining balance within the body. “We found that,” Keller explained in his presentation. “When used properly, this plant can help activate, tone, and support the endocannabinoid system when it is out of balance,” she further explained.
Many people are unfamiliar with the endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system is sometimes referred to as the body’s own “master system” because of its role in maintaining the balance of all body networks.
