Shaftesbury Capital, a major London property owner, has announced that luxury activewear brand Alo Yoga has signed as the new anchor tenant for its property in London’s Covent Garden.

it is 5,000 sq. ft. An anchor unit located at the junction of Neal Street and Earlham Street, “a key gateway into the Seven Dials area of Covent Garden”.
This is another testament to the landlord’s success in creating a dynamic mixed-use venue in Covent Garden, making the Seven Dials division increasingly attractive to independent and specialist global brands.
The new store will be located at 25a Neal Street and will bring the California-born brand’s lifestyle and activewear collections directly to the West End for the first time.
The brand currently has over 100 Alo Sanctuaries around the world, and the new store will span three floors and “spotlight the Alo Yoga ethos from studio to street, with comfortable, contemporary and trend-forward designs for celebrity-favorite women and men’s wear.” Products on offer will include activewear, loungewear, accessories and a curated selection of wellness products.
It will be “decorated with a clean, bright aesthetic with exposed brick accents, designed to reflect its California heritage and provide a neutral backdrop to spotlight its line of performance wear products.”
Neal Street and Earlham Street are the two main shopping streets. Other brands located on and just around the Seven Dials main road include Finisterre and Axel Arigato.
Shaftesbury Capital has introduced 15 new brands to Seven Dials in the past 12 months and signed deals with nine retailers this year alone. The deal follows the recent announcement that premium outdoor clothing brand Peak Performance has chosen Covent Garden as the location for its first UK store, which will open at 49 Long Acre, following sister brand Arc’teryx’s recent flagship store opening on King Street.
