BERN, Switzerland — Grammy Award-winning pop star Pink, currently performing in Europe as part of her Summer Carnival tour, has cancelled a show scheduled for today in Switzerland, citing health issues.
Pink announced the cancellation in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
“We are committed to performing for you all every night, but after consulting with our doctors and considering all options, we have been advised that we cannot proceed with tomorrow’s show,” the post read. “We were looking forward to spending time with you all, making memories and sharing the show with you, and we are deeply disappointed that we must cancel.”
The post said that all ticket holders will be refunded.
Billboard reports that Pink has already played more than 70 shows across the US and Europe as part of her Summer Carnival tour, which includes a show in Cleveland in November.
Her post did not say whether her health would affect her planned concert on Saturday in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Pink, 44, rose to superstardom in 2001 with the hit “Get the Party Started” from her sophomore album, “Missandaztood,” which sold more than 13 million copies. She has since sold more than 60 million albums over the course of her career.
She has won three Grammy Awards and seven Billboard Music Awards, and next year will be eligible for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
