Let’s protect our mental health! Please join us for the family-friendly Love Your Heart Health Fair hosted by TrueCare in partnership with the County of San Diego and Live Well San Diego.
TrueCare’s Love Your Hearth Health Fair, in partnership with San Diego County and Live Well San Diego, will offer free blood pressure checks and blood pressure monitors (while supplies last). The Community Health Fair will also offer a wide range of wellness resources for a healthy heart, tailored to families and individuals of all ages. There will also be fun and interactive activities for kids, a complimentary food box with fresh produce (while supplies last) and a TrueCare mobile unit with a flu vaccine (while supplies last).
Additionally, Blood Mobile in San Diego will be accepting blood donations.
The fair will provide opportunities to access a variety of resources, including assistance with obtaining health insurance, resume reviews by TrueCare’s human resources team for those interested in working for TrueCare, and a voter registration booth. Free pediatric dental exams, HIV testing, and hepatitis C testing are also available.
Love Your Heart is an annual event where organizations collaborate to educate the community about heart health. Almost half of American adults have high blood pressure, but most people don’t know they have it because there are no obvious symptoms. This event will help people understand what their blood pressure is and what the blood pressure numbers mean.
TrueCare, a recognized Live Well Partner, will host this free public event for the entire community to celebrate Love Your Heart Week and American Heartth Month in February. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet several of TrueCare’s friendly medical providers, dentists, and team members who are passionate about providing health care for all.
Community partners participating with TrueCare in this event include Live Well San Diego, San Diego Blood Bank, Migrant Education, California State University San Marcos, Mathru Krupa, and Southern Care Resource Center.
