Loma Linda University Health will find new treatments for people facing life’s most challenging illnesses, expand the preparation of a more skilled and compassionate health care workforce, and strengthen access to health care services. Researchers have officially launched “Stronger Together,” a $300 million initiative aimed at supporting the efforts of Inland Empire residents, especially their children. Loma Linda University Health Dean Richard Hart, MD, PhD, made the official announcement of the campaign during an event on February 28 at Loma Linda University Church.

As the only children’s hospital serving more than 25% of California’s landmass and the region’s only Level 1 pediatric trauma center, Loma Linda University Health is dedicated to meeting the needs of our community’s growing pediatric population. - We will open a new pediatric outpatient specialty clinic and integrate specialties and services to expand access to much-needed outpatient care to our region’s smallest and most frail patients.
- Modernizing the operating room and expanding the neonatal intensive care unit at the children’s hospital.
- Part of the fifth floor of Hinshaw Towers will be converted into a 49-bed inpatient pediatric psychology unit.
