Speaker 1: Samsung teased the Galaxy Ring Health Tracker at Unpacked in January, and we’re seeing more of it here at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Unfortunately, it’s behind protective glass, but at least we can use our eyes and camera to take a closer look. As you can see, the galaxy ring has three colors. Available in dark steel color, silver and gold. Currently, the ring is available in nine different sizes, with the larger sizes actually being slightly larger. [00:00:30] A battery that lasts longer. That said, Samsung hasn’t really said anything about its key specs, nor has it revealed what kind of battery life we can expect from the Ring. There are sensors inside the ring that track your heart rate, track your sleep movements, and do a variety of other functions to give you an overview of your health. Speaker 1: Again, Samsung hasn’t said exactly what features it will have or what kind of health tracking it will be able to do, but it does say that sleep is important. I already know. [00:01:00] Tracking is going to be a big part of that. The Galaxy Ring pairs with Samsung’s Galaxy Health app, which allows you to not only sync your data but also get what Samsung calls my Vitality score. The aim is to give you an overview of your sleep quality and also provide advice on how to improve your sleep. For me, it might just be that I don’t drink coffee after 9pm, but I didn’t particularly need a ringtone to let me know that my wife had coffee. However, it also measures heart rate, breathing rate, nighttime, etc. [00:01:30] In addition to exercise, you can also track your menstrual cycle and fertility. This is one of the few times we’ve actually been able to see him in the ring up close, so there are still a lot of questions left. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t been particularly proactive with their answers, so we’ll have to wait and see what else Samsung has in store for the Ring. But for now, all I can do is look through the glass and hope I’ll be able to slip it into my hands sometime soon. But some CNET staffers are already doing it.Please check it by all means [00:02:00] For Galaxy Ring coverage, slash mwc at mwcPage@cnet.com.
