NASCAR Fantasy is gearing up for its second NASCAR Cup Series race in 2024 at the Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
This is the first of two races to be held at the Georgia venue this year and the fifth event since the reconfiguration. The race will take place on Sunday, February 25th at 3pm ET (noon PT) on FOX. Radio broadcasts will be available on both PRN and SiriusXM’s NASCAR Radio.
NASCAR Fantasy Live gives fans the opportunity to participate in driver selection for each Cup Series race weekend. We will select five starters and one “garage” driver for each event. Garage drivers do not receive points, but they replace starters who may have trouble early in the race. After stage 2, the pick is locked and cannot be changed. Points are awarded based on the four “head-to-head” driver nominations, plus stage his points and finishing position. The driver is a regular for 26 races. In the entire season he is selected only 10 times, then in the 10-race playoffs he is selected only 5 times.
Visit the NASCAR website for rules on how to play.
The following drivers listed are not the lineup I would guarantee for Sunday’s race. Here are my NASCAR Fantasy recommendations for who to pick and who to avoid in the 2024 Ambetter Health 400. Also, see just below for my predictions.

Check out NASCAR Fantasy’s breakdown of last week’s Daytona 500 here.
Beginners
Pick 1 – Ryan Blaney
ryan blaney The Daytona 500 saw another strong performance, but ended with “The Big One” with nine laps remaining. Superspeedways are Blaney’s forte, and his performance in his four Atlanta repave races has been nothing short of impressive. Two stage wins, stage points in six of eight stages, and three consecutive top-10s are all reasons to lean toward Blaney’s nomination. Additionally, he leads all drivers through these four races with an average running position of 7.4. We look forward to a strong comeback from the 2023 champions.
Pick 2 – Austin Cindric
Speaking of Penske, Austin Cindric This weekend’s secret selection for NASCAR Fantasy is: Blaney’s teammates were in position to win a second trophy in the Great American Race, but an accident caused the white flag to wave. About Dirty Mo Media harmful act, Denny Hamlin commented on how impressed he was with Cindric’s ability in the draft. Cindric finished first in Stage 1 of this race last year and has finished 12th or better in Atlanta three years in a row.
Pick 3 – Joey Logano
Want to ride all three Penske cars? It’s a high risk, but their performance in Atlanta leads all other teams. Joey Logano He was also a Penske driver and was involved in an accident along with Blaney, ending his hopes of competing in a second Daytona 500. At the Atlanta race in March 2023, Logano led for 140 of 260 laps and finished first and second in two stages. With a second-place finish in Sunday’s qualifying, Logano is expected to maintain his track position heading into a strong NASCAR Fantasy Day.
Choice 4 – chase elliott
fan favorite chase elliott Drafting style tracks always put you in the mix. The 2020 champion missed last March’s race due to injury, but finished a respectable 13th in the second rain-shortened event. Elliott finished sixth in the first reconstructed race, but took the checkered flag at the 2022 summer event with an overwhelming victory in both stages. Sooner or later, the Dawsonville, Ga., native will be back in victory lane, and the spark will be lit this weekend.
Pick 5 – William Byron
Ladies and gentlemen, I am the 2024 Daytona 500 Champion. William Byron This year, he earned a spot in victory lane and got off to a strong start. And now the challenge for the NASCAR Cup Series title is on. Therefore, they have nothing to lose in chasing the lead. Byron has won seven of the past 37 races and enters Atlanta as the defending winner. He also took first place in the first repave of 2022, but the up-and-coming superstar will certainly enter the fray, although an aggressive stance may put him at a disadvantage.
Alternative options
- Loss chastain: Finished the 2022 initiative with 2nd place in a row
- Corey Lajoie: Finished in the top five in the past two major races in Atlanta, crashed in the final lap for the lead at the 2022 summer event, and just finished a career-best 4th place at the Daytona 500.
- Justin Haley: Tied for 10th in average running position since Lipave in 2022
*avoid*
- Kyle Busch: Finished in the top 10 twice in 4 repaved starts, and finished in the top 10 in 6 of 8 stages.
- bubba wallace: Since the reconfiguration, the Cup Series has never finished in the top 10 or higher than 13th at Atlanta.
- Kyle Larson: DNF in 3 of last 4 races at Atlanta
Notable matches
William Byron vs. Denny Hamlin
As mentioned above, William Byron has nothing to lose. Denny Hamlin had a good run at Lipave, but he only finished in the top 10 once. With two wins in this configuration, entering as the previous race winner and holding the most wins since last season, byron Here’s your choice.
Alex Bowman vs. Christopher Bell
At last weekend’s Daytona 500, Alex Bowman He finished runner-up to William Byron. The second-place finish was surprisingly Bowman’s best finish since 2022 at the Circuit of the Americas (second place). This will be an interesting matchup. christopher bell Since the event, I have finished 1st or 2nd place more than 5 times. Bell finished one spot behind Bowman in the season opener. Hendrick Motorsports is off to a slightly better start than Joe Gibbs Racing, so I’m leaning towards that. Bowman.
Joey Logano vs. Brad Keselowski
Ford vs. Ford in this NASCAR fantasy battle.with Joey Logano brad keselowski Both are considered the best drafted players in the field. Their skills are almost even when it comes to this style of racing, and the same can be said for their Atlanta repave stats. Logano has led in three of the four races and Keselowski has led in two of the four races. Keselowski leads the stage with five of the eight cars in the top 10, while Logano only has three. This duo is the hardest to choose, but by a close second I choose this one Keselowski.
Bubba Wallace vs. Chase Elliott
How wonderful! bubba wallace It’s on a superspeedway, but something about Atlanta just didn’t resonate with me. Last year, he caught up after an early wreck in the March race and then a late accident in the summer race. If the previous performance were to be repeated, Wallace would ultimately not be in contention.I choose the winner of summer 2022 Elliot.
