Mental health and wellness program recognized as one of the nation’s top programs in patient care

Patients in need of mental health treatment across Florida find help and healing at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. The hospital offers the only inpatient, voluntary acute care behavioral health program for older adults in the Sarasota area. She serves people over the age of 50 in need of emergency mental health treatment in a safe, caring and tranquil environment. One patient recently wrote: “…in 2023, I never attempted suicide or was hospitalized. I believe part of that is due to the time I spent [the hospital] “And the skills I learned there and the caring staff who are always ready and willing to listen…” Patient experiences like these have earned caregivers a 2023 Human Experience (HX) Guardian of the Year award by Press Gainey. Received the Excellence Award®. The award is part of Press Ganey’s annual ranking of the nation’s top hospitals and health systems based on patient experience performance. “There is a great need for mental health treatment in our community, and we are a unique program serving people over the age of 50. For us, the highest award is the care we provide to our patients and the care they give to others. to see the patients improve, and that’s the biggest accomplishment,” said Vladimir Einisman, M.D., a psychiatrist and medical director of the Mental Health and Wellness Program at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital. A Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award® recipient, the hospital was in the top 5% of health care providers in delivering the inpatient experience last year.
