IU Health opened a second Bloomington Urgent Care Center location Tuesday at 482 S. Liberty Drive as a walk-in service.
Our West Side office hours are 8AM to 8PM Monday through Friday, 8AM to 6PM Saturday and Sunday, and are open on holidays.
“Bloomington is the medical hub of south-central Indiana, and we are always looking for ways to best serve the needs of our community,” Mike Teague, medical director of IU Health South Central Regional Primary Care Service Line, said in a news release. “The addition of a second emergency room on Bloomington’s west side is an opportunity to better provide convenient, non-urgent care to people with minor medical issues who can’t wait for a primary care appointment.”
the WebsiteThis office is intended for emergency treatment of non-life threatening conditions. Examples include minor illnesses, minor injuries, and health and preventive tests.
Occupational health services are available, including employee injury treatment, testing, screenings, vaccinations and consultations.
The office also includes veterans services: IU Health is a community provider for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
