Instacart continues to expand its efforts to promote food as medicine.
The grocery technology company is collaborating with Pack Health, a Quest Diagnostics company, on a complementary set of services aimed at increasing food access, nutrition education and coaching support for Pack Health patients. We offer
Through this partnership, food insecure members enrolled in the Pack Health engagement program can receive nutritious food delivered the same day. instacart It’s designed for their condition, provided by their local grocery store through their health plan.
Pack Health also offers weekly one-on-one coaching services, shopping lists and recipes, and dedicated support. All members who enroll in the Pack Health program will be matched with one of her in-house health advisors who will guide you through symptom-specific modules over a 12-week period through weekly phone calls, two-way texts, and emails.
Pack Health piloted a similar program with a group of more than 500 participants in the Southeastern United States in 2023 with positive results.
