Now, as a senior at Noblesville, which ranks second in Class 4A, Fine is a leader in more than just playing basketball. This diagnosis was a shock. During the summer after her freshman year, Fine wasn’t herself. Unusual lethargy and poor performance during basketball tournaments sparked concern and led to a diagnosis that forever changed his life and the way he approached the game he loved. Fine’s stats are impressive as he averages 18.1 points, 3.6 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game. constantly monitor his blood sugar levels, an insulin pump attached to his waist, and meticulous health management during games and practices. Despite these hurdles, Fine not only continued to play, he excelled, hitting a career-best 41% from 3-point range.
