As we age, it’s more important than ever to maintain and improve our strength, flexibility, and balance. All of these are essential for living an active and independent life.
These gentle yoga classes are designed for anyone who wants to maintain and improve their strength, flexibility, and balance abilities. We work to increase range of motion and strength in your shoulders, back, hips, knees, and legs. Develop better balance through a variety of postures while increasing core and breathing awareness. Props such as blocks, yoga straps, and chairs are also provided. The class concludes with a relaxing guided meditation.
of level 1 This class is perfect for people with little or no yoga experience.of level 2 Classes are aimed at those with experience in yoga or regular fitness.
Location: Almonte Old Town Hall (3)rd floor auditorium)
Date: Wednesday, March 6th – April 3rd (5 times in total)
Time: 9:30am to 10:30am (Level 2), 11:00am – 12:00pm (Level 1)
Price: $15 per class or $65 for a 5 class series

I am a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher (ERYT-500) with 15 years of yoga teaching experience. My goal is to make the practice of yoga accessible and fun for students of all ages. I teach regularly at Beyond Yoga in Kanata, Old Forge Community Center in Ottawa…and now in my new hometown of Almonte.
